Problems among underage member of the military who consume alcohol include: serious consequences (15.8 percent); alcohol related productivity loss (19.5 percent); hazardous drinking (25.7 percent), harmful drinking (4.6 percent), or possible dependence (5.5 percent)
In 1933, prohibition was overturned by the 18th amendment, however, many states chose to remain dry and it would be 30 years until all states allowed alcohol sales again.
